Symptoms of COVID-19
Officially, the CDC states the following are symptoms of COVID-19 and the IDPH states students are to be sent home or denied entry into the school if ANY of the following symptoms are present:

Fever (100.4 F or higher)

New onset of moderate to severe headache

Fatigue from unknown cause

Muscle or body aches

Sore throat
-
Shortness of breath
-
New cough
-
New congestion/runny nose

Nausea and/or vomiting
-
Diarrhea
-
Abdominal pain from unknown cause

New loss of sense of taste or smell
*New onset of a symptom is not attributed to allergies or a pre-existing condition.
As a community, we are counting on every parent/guardian to physically look at their child/ren and review with them each morning the questions on the self-certification form in their lanyard before signing it and sending them to school.
