General

Any student who plans to take an AP test this year MUST register for their exam before October 15.  Late fees will apply for registering after the deadline. Check with any AP teacher for the join codes.  If you have questions or need assistance please see Mr. Finlayson or Kappy for help.

Hey Sentinels! Do you have a dress that you won’t wear? Do you need a dress for homecoming? Come drop your dress off at Mrs. Templeton’s room before or after school or during 5A lunch! For more information, look at the flyers in the hallway or talk to Makenzie Blaine, Louisa Gheorghita or Lizzy Szynal. 

Sentinels, it's HOMECOMING Week and that means that carnations are on sale in the commons at lunch time.   Buy a Homecoming proposal carnation to ask a friend or that special someone to the dance!   Carnations are $2 for one or three for $5.  There is a limit of 50 flowers per person.  See Mrs. Zorbas or Señorita with any questions. 

Fall Play. We are pleased to announce that we will be performing Our Town by Thornton Wilder on November 5 and 6. Auditions will be held next Monday, September 20 and Tuesday, September 21 in the auditorium. Audition materials, sign-up, and a tentative schedule are posted in the Fall Play Google Classroom. Students interested in non-acting roles should also visit classroom for information. See Mrs. Mahmoud if you have any questions.

 

Athletics

The girls basketball team is looking for help. They need a  Team manager: someone who has an understanding of basketball, is well organized, and has a good attention to detail, available for every game and practice as well as a Video production manager who is good at editing video and wants to gain experience in media arts or sports video production. Also need to be available the entire season.

The Sentinel Dance Squad will be holding tryouts for anyone interested on September 20 and 21. Tryouts will be held from 5 - 8 p.m.  In order to try out - you must complete the online 8 to 18 registration and have a current physical.

Like to make art?  Art Club is for YOU!  Art Club is open to everyone and meets every Monday after school in the art room. Art Club is an open studio for anyone to explore your art-making ideas!  Sometimes we focus on different art-making activities, watch art-themed movies with snacks, or just come hang out in the studio and do your own thing!!  Join us for the Art Club Today after School from 3:00-4:30. All are Welcome!
